Asin is Venkatesh’s Savitri?

Are Asin and Venkatesh going to team up again? They have paired up in Gharshana movie and the chemistry between them has been the highlight of it. Now the film nagar buzz says that Asin is likely to pair up with Venkatesh in Savitri movie under Teja direction.

Venkatesh has lit green to Teja’s script long back but they didn’t get a suitable lead lady to portray the title role in Savitri. Nayanthara was approached for it but the actress rejected the offer due to personal reasons. Later Trisha was considered but not approached by the makers.

Latest buzz says that Asin has chances to pair up with Venkatesh as Savitri. If Asin bags this offer then it will be a comeback vehicle for her as she is not seen in Telugu from many years
